2006 Fengqing Raw Pu-erh Tea Tuocha 100g

Tightly compressed, bitterness with sweet aftertaste. Sheng pu-erh has a strong flavor for its first sip, though the sweet aftertaste will bring you a wonderful sensation; this particular tea carries a hint of sugarcane as its aftertaste, lingering in your mouth. This 100g tuocha was compressed in July of 2006 and is 7cm in width with a heigh of 4.5cm, and has a dark green color with the leaves becoming soft upon brewing. In order to craft good sheng pu-erh, fresh tea leaves picked around the Qing Ming season are absolutely required. The materials for this tea come from the Fenqing large-leaf tea species, and first are picked and then dried with traditional methods before they are pressed into the tuocha, or bird’s nest shape. When smelling its faint, earthy scent, it may bring you feelings of the beautiful Yunnan scenery where this tea was made.
